The Archibald Portraits Exhibition – did you miss the free trip?
Last Friday, ten Erica/Rawson district residents caught the free bus arranged by Baw Baw Shire and enjoyed a stress-free excursion to Sale. A quick retail therapy stop at the Gippsland Centre was followed by a relaxed lakeside lunch. Viewing of the Archibald Portrait Prize Finalists at the only Victorian Venue was next – entry was pre-booked and free for the group. Another chance for coffee then a leisurely trip home completed the day.
This free Community Excursion was the third offered by Baw Baw Shire’s Rawson Erica Community Bus Program. ALL residents of the local area, young or old, can take part. The excursions depart from the Rawson shops at 9:00 am and return before 3:00pm. Pick-up from Erica can be arranged.
Two more outings are scheduled.
FRIDAY NOVEMBER 19th will travel to Moe and include a ‘Fire Preparedness’ presentation and complimentary morning tea. Plenty of time for some bargain hunting in Moe and catching up with friends. And room in the bus for your shopping too.
FRIDAY DECEMBER 17th will be an excursion to Mid-Valley Shopping Centre and, depending on COVID restrictions, could include a Christmas lunch and a small gift. Explore all the new outlets at the revamped Mid-Valley, check out Bunning’s, or find a short movie.
YOU MUST BOOK IN ADVANCE, Call Nadine on 5165 3236 to reserve your seat.
