School to relocate on high fire risk days
Following a review of the fires that impacted the area in early 2019, the Rawson Primary School has been advised by the Department of Education and Training that a School Relocation Plan must be developed for use during high fire risk days. Although yet to be signed off by the DET Regional Director and School Council, it is expected that local pupils will need to relocate to another school site at such times. Families will be advised by the school when details of the school’s response have been finalized.
