The Tyers to Traralgon road (C481) across the La Trobe River is still closed pending inspection of and possible repairs to the bridges and causeway. Inspection of the bridges will take place when water levels permit safe access.
Tools valued at about $3000, including a chainsaw and generator, were stolen when the Walhalla Goldfields Railway workshop at Thomson Station was broken in to. The effected volunteers have asked that any offers to sell used tools be reported to Police.
