Victoria has recorded 1,763 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 and four more deaths of people with the virus. It is the highest daily local cases tally recorded in any state or territory, surpassing the peak of 1,599 recorded in the New South Wales outbreak.

The use of Coaches to replace V/Line trains is due to end on Wednesday February 10th. Rail services have been suspended to allow work on the removal of level crossings. Extra time should be allowed for the trip – the trains go faster! Passengers will still need to wear masks and QR check-in.
