Planned Burn areas reopened
Forest Fire Management Victoria (FFMVic) and Country Fire Authority (CFA) advise that the following planned burns have been declared safe:
- Rawson – Mclelland Rd planned burn, located at .5km SE of Rawson,
- Rawson – Amor Jack planned burn, located at 1km N of Rawson
- Rawson – Caravan Park planned burn, located at 0.5km East of Rawson,
No material is burning within the burn areas and no smoke is being produced. Post-burn safety checks have been completed, including hazardous tree checks.
Crews are no longer patrolling this burns. However, you may see crews onsite carrying out post-burn monitoring.
The burn areas are now safe to enter. Roads, walking tracks, car parks, camping grounds and picnic sites that were closed during the planned burn have been re-opened.
