Erica Planned Burn Areas declared safe.

Forest Fire Management Victoria (FFMVic) and Country Fire Authority (CFA) advise that the Erica-Rintoul Creek planned burn located at 10km SE of Erica, and the Erica – Rusks Road planned burn located at 2.5km SW of Erica, have both been declared safe.

No material is burning within the burn area and no smoke is being produced. Post-burn safety checks have been completed, including hazardous tree checks. Crews are no longer patrolling this burn. However, you may see crews onsite carrying out post-burn monitoring.

The burn area is now safe to enter. Roads, walking tracks, car parks, camping grounds and picnic sites that were closed during the planned burn have been re-opened.
