Battery for Hazelwood site

Today’s announcement of Australia’s largest battery, to be built at the former Hazelwood Power Station site, is welcome news for the Latrobe Valley. The facility will be able to provide Power Conditioning services (making up the shortfall when wind and sun output vary) as well as peak load supply. Completion is expected by the end of 2022.
