Local Legend Jodie Mace Honoured
Local Legend, Jodie Mace, was presented with an Australia Day Medallion at a Ceremony in Warragul earlier today.
More recently known for her delightful history-laden 1914 Cafe and Bar in Erica, she will be particularly remembered for her thoughtful hosting of many local celebrations.
Jodie has had a long connection with the Mountain Rivers District. Along with Husband Mark, she previously operated the Erica Hotel, Walhalla’s Long Tunnel Coffee Shop and a niche cafe in Moe.
Always very community minded, Jodie was a founding member of the Erica and District Historical Society and has provided endless assistance to other local groups such as Red Cross and the Erica Pre-school.
