New rules for visitors to hospital and aged care settings.

Under new pandemic orders, from 11.59pm Wednesday 12 January 2022 there was an update to the rules for visitors to hospital and aged care settings.
Visitors in hospitals must have received two doses of the COVID vaccine or must return a negative RAT result before entering. Adults who have not received two doses of vaccine must wear an N95 mask during their visit. Standard face masks continue to be mandated for children aged 8 and above.
Residents at aged care facilities can continue to have up to five visitors per day, but visitors must return a negative RAT result before entering. If no RAT’s are available at the facility, residents can only have no more than two visitors.
