Walhalla Railway hoping to be back on track for Saturday
More bad news – no trains Friday!
The repair work is taking longer to source parts and make the adjustments on our locomotives than first thought. Our repair team is working hard and appreciates that everyone is disappointed we have been out of operations due to this mechanical failure.
Repairs update – our team are working on repairing the 10 class and finding the right replacement parts seems to be causing delays. We are thankful that colleagues from Puffing Billy Railway are assisting us with works on the Fowler locomotive.
No trains tomorrow, Friday 7 January, however our team are using the Kasey locomotive (pictured below) to run our services on the weekend – which is great news!
There will be less carriages so bookings are essential to secure your ride. You can book online for 11am,1pm and 3pm trips on Saturday and Sunday – www.walhallarail.com.au
