Tyers-Boola-W16 burn declared safe

Forest Fire Management Victoria (FFMVic) and Country Fire Authority (CFA) advise that the Boola – Highlander – W16 planned burn, located at 9.6km NW of Tyers, has been declared safe. No material is burning within the burn area and no smoke is being produced. Post-burn safety checks have been completed, including hazardous tree checks….

COVID – Gippsland Trains replaced by Coaches

Gippsland train services will be replaced by coaches after a COVID-positive train driver visited the Southern Cross and Traralgon stations earlier this week. The train driver visited the Traralgon depot and spent time in the V/Line recreation room on Monday. Coaches will replace Bairnsdale and Traralgon trains until at least Monday.
