COVID in Baw Baw and Latrobe

The Gippsland Public Health Unit have advised that positive COVID-19 viral fragments have been detected in wastewater in areas around Moe and Traralgon. All known Primary Close Contacts (PCCs) in the areas of concern have been contacted and have been requested to undertake additional testing.

A new COVID case has been reported in the Baw Baw shire. The person was a close contact of someone in Melbourne who also tested positive. At this time, possible exposure sites have yet to be published. Check on www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/exposure-sites
Anyone experiencing any flu-like symptoms, however minor, should get tested. Symptoms include fever, coughing, sore throat, fatigue and shortness of breath.

10am – 2pm tomorrow, Saturday 25 September and Sunday 26 September.
📍Dorevitch Pathology at Latrobe Regional Hospital, Traralgon – drive through, appointments required. 9am – 1pm tomorrow, Saturday 25 September.
📍Latrobe Valley Respiratory Clinic, Morwell. Appointments required. Four rooms available
