The following Mountain Rivers Businesses are reopening!
  • General Store/Bakery in Erica
  • Rawson Minimart and Bottle Shop
  • Erica’s 1914 Cafe (from Thursday)
  • Erica Hotel/Motel
  • The Wally Pub [lunch & dinner]
  • Walhalla Corner Stores & Museum
  • Walhalla Goldfields Railway [11am & 1 pm departures]
  • Erica Ski Hire [7am > 7pm]
  • Caravan Parks in Erica and Rawson, but not Walhalla due to storm damage
  • Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort. (Note: for Resort entry, proof of a negative result COVID-19 test within the prior 72hrs is required). Chains must be carried and fitted as directed. These and other snow gear can be hired in Erica.
  • Mt St Gwinnear has about 10cm of snow. Chains must be carried. No COVOID test needed.
  • Kitty’s Cafe in Walhalla will open on 7 August.
