Erica to Rawson footpath
The $836 671 contract for construction of the long awaited asphalt path between Erica and Rawson has been awarded to Ace Earthmoving P/L The trail was identified as a priority in Baw Baw Shire’s Paths and Trails Strategy Completion is expected by December 2021.
Cr Michael Leaney commented that local residents and visitors had wanted the connection between the two towns for many years and it was pleasing that the project funding was being provided by the Federal Government, not Baw Baw Shire ratepayers.
