Fire Restrictions start 16 Dec
Restrictions will commence for the South Gippsland Shire, Bass Coast Shire and Baw Baw Shire on the 16th December 2019.
The restrictions apply to the West & South Gippsland and Central Fire Areas as shown on the map below. From 16 December a permit may be required to burn off or light a fire in the open. For more information on permits go to https://www.cfa.vic.gov.au/warnings-restrictions/fire-permits

All burn-offs should be registered with ESTA on 1800 668 511.
A reminder: – if the CFA get a call to attend an illegal burn that has not been issued a permit, the police also respond. Clean up now and burn rubbish before restrictions commence.
